App Reviews

  • Cool concept, eh product

    By branntpen
I loved the idea. I’m an award winning college writer and an entrepreneur—this app was a perfect concept. However, when typing, it is a terrible nuisance. Hardly ever corrects, especially when you’re typing fast. The size of the buttons in comparison to Apple’s keyboard is a heavy adjustment to. I’d rather have an app where I can submit my email copies, text copies, business writings, etc to have correct than have this keyboard messing up everything I’m trying to type.
  • I got this to ”write with confidence” not get made fun of fun of.

I tried this for three months and the success of it is; limited I'm typing this with Grammarly and to say the least, it's not working. It knows commas capitalization and; has no Idea how to use periods not much else Run on sentences it's Fine with I don't Technically have to put a period if I don't want too and can; place a semicolon Anywhere I want so don't bother getting this it's no: better than the Default auto-correct see how many mistakes You can find post-Grammarly in this Review. I left out the grammar that I do know just to prove a point. If you have any ideas as to how else I could try and mess up grammar as a test let me know if you can.
  • Needs full access

While I’m a family proficient writer, I often make dumb typos while rushing though projects. I love how Grammarly catches those obvious mistakes. However, I don’t like the fact that they force you to agree to allow full access (giving them the right to collect ANY information you type, as well as retain the information). Obviously, I don’t like the idea of some company having access to my bank accounts, debit/credit card, and other personal information I type. Additionally, I use my phone for work, so I’m unable to allow that kind of access because it would be a HIPPA violation. I’ve disappointed because it’s a great product, but not at all safe or secure the way it’s currently set up.
  • It wont pick up mistakes even when i do them on purpose.

  • To “thanks for tracking!”

(Love the app) Hey, just so you know, the only reason they need to be able to access what you are typing is so they can correct your grammar and spelling, etc. it has nothing to do with spying on you or taking your information as doing so would be highly illegal. I have grammarly on all of my computers and my phone and it has never given me any security issues. Hope that helps! Brid.
  • Too hard to write with

    By zerbrakid
I so was happy when I found out Grammarly has a keyboard, so I can write better stories for my friends on my phone, and not going through the hassle of writing it down on a computer and emailing it to myself just to send it to me and then them, but when I got the keyboard, it was tough to write with, and I kept making spelling errors with it, and I was trying to spell the simplest things, like Happy and And but Grammarly made it Hand and Has... Tf? I don’t think, “Jimin Hand Yoongi was Has to see their friend.” Makes sense Grammarly. Also, the way the keyboard fixes the errors when it decides to work, it annoys me, and it sometimes glitches out on me in the middle of a sentence. Sometimes I have to look at the keyboard to spell one small word because Grammarly keys are smaller than the ones that I have set on my phone. And when I start a new paragraph, the Grammarly circle-thing that’s at the left part of the keyboard gets annoying for me. Normally, when I press space, I do it on the side where the period is and all the other symbols are. So about half the time, there's a space in the middle of my sentence. I could go on forever about what's wrong with this but I'm saving your time. Goodbye.
  • Security breach!

Sharing everything I type, surely a breach of confidentiality with clients etc.?
  • Slow

I thought it was my 6+ making the keyboard lag but it still lag with my 8+ and the accuracy of typing is off
  • It's cool

  • I don’t trust this app

I really would like my grammar to be better but having access to everything I type ( personal information) is a huge deal breaker.
