App Reviews

  • Spam text enabled, but not showing through Nomorobo

I love this app. However, I have Nomorobo spam text enabled in my settings, but it’s not showing so in the app. I am getting spam texts about free movie invites. Please fix this.
  • Flaky app

Works great, when it works. But lots of calls get through. When you look up the number it says “robocaller”, so why didn’t you block it then? Stupid
  • Doesn’t work

    By MutT004
I have been using the app for a week without any reduction in calls. I get the same calls from different numbers on a daily basis. I report and block through Nomorobo for them to just call the next day from a different number. I would expect to see some reduction of calls that actually ring but looking through my recent calls they are only flagged as robo calls the day after I have reported them and no calls have been sent directly to voicemail as advertised. I will be canceling my subscription at the end of the trial period. I was really hoping a paid service would cut done on the junk calls that I get.

  • Best call blocker

Nomorobo has saved my sanity. Prior to it, I could no longer trust my phone and I considered changing my number but I am the head of a company and that’s harder than it seems. So, I tried all the call blockers and Nomorobo hands down was the best. Occasionally I will notice the app isn’t updating (a couple times a year) and support advised me to delete the app and add it again to fix the issue. That is the only problem I have had. Far better than Hiya or Truecaller.
  • This is fine

Nomorobo works fine. Blocking is not perfect, in part due to weaknesses of the app / service and in part due to the design of iOS; however, it certainly helps the problem. The amount of one-star vitriol directed at this app is frankly suspicious and makes me wonder if competitors (or robocallers!) are trying to manipulate the ratings...
  • Meh

    By A fan from Bozeman
Not great. Hard to tell if there was any measurable effect. Three strikes: 1) Sent a very important, time-sensitive, NON-Robocall to voice mail. Boo. 2) The app would not refresh the database unless I opened it. Messed w/ settings, but to no avail. Boo. 3) It really didn’t stop many robocalls. It has a particularly hard time w/ the robobastards’ new-fangled use of pirating local #s. FCC, what say ye? ...crickets.
  • So far not good

My experience with Nomorobo over 3-4 weeks makes me feel more like an unpaid minion of Nomorobo vs. protected. I have yet to derive the advertised value of the service, call deflection. At the same time, I’ve diligently reported close to a dozen numbers. In short, my experience parallels that of, where I’ve reported probably 100 numbers, often multiple times, and experienced an increase in annoyance and fraudulent calls with no visible action or reduced activity. If your planning to purchase this service, I will be posting a second review around my second bill cycle.
  • Worthless, if anything robot calls increased

    By Leocrespo
If did not detect a single robot call in a week. If anything I feel the number of calls have increased after I gave them my number.
  • Don’t waste your money

This app is completely useless. Robo callers use spoofed numbers and this app has no way of identifying them. I received 5 Robo calls a day before installing and 5 calls a day after installing
