  • Great app but if I changed...

I really love using this app. As someone who is new to coding this app has been really helpful. I use it almost every evening before bed for 15-20minutes. It’s like the Duolingo of coding. If I were to change something it would probably be the stuff they are no doubt working on like adding more levels and projects. Also I have been using this for a while now and I haven’t run into a single bug so... Nice Work Guys!!
  • Offer a better trial experience

I am really thinking about buying the $30 for a year pass, because honestly if you are serious about coding and have an income it would be a no brainer, except for the fact that I was only able to use about 5 minutes of the app before being halted and told to purchase a subscription. Now being told to get a subscription after an appropriate trial would be reasonable but after just a few minutes on the app? This makes me think there must not be enough content for you to justify a longer trial period and therefore not enough for me to buy it, so I really wish you would reconsider the way you let people try out this app. Maybe let them use it for an entire day or something, that way they can actually learn for an hour or two instead of just feeling like they have no idea what the app really would contain if they paid for it.
  • Really disappointed

Although I am fairly disappointed with this app, as it requests money to buy the premium version to unlock any chapter after the first, it shows great promise in programming for kids. Honestly I am excited to see what’s to come, and if you’re reading this and are thinking about downloading the app, you should totally try it. My response to The Mimo Team: Thank you for your response Mimo Team, I know you worked hard on this app and are trying to raise some money, all I was trying to say (though I was rather annoyed with the app at the time of my writing) was that you should add more chapters before asking for the premium version. Perhaps you could use ads and we could pay to not have to watch them? Anyways I have changed my review to be more acceptable (😂) and more helpful for people reading it. Thank you for your response, and I’m excited to see what’s to come with the app.

Simple and makes understanding code easier to figure out. Drives the logic home

I was overjoyed when I found a new app to learn how to code on. When I downloaded it, I was under the impression that it was all free. I added the track of hacking and completed the first chapter. As I went to the second chapter, I noticed it had a lock symbol in the bottom left of the icon. I still pressed on it and it asked me to get a $9.99 subscription to continue. Don’t let this app scam you!!

You probably already know why I’m here. I love the idea of the app but I can only to the first part, I felt like I didn’t learn anything and that’s it, I have to pay. It’s probably written somewhere that you have to pay like what the other user said. But as a jobless teenager like me, I would much appreciate it if it’s free. I want free Education!!! 😂 Anyways, I agree with the other user. I would rather watch an Ad for every lesson. For now I’m just gonna patiently wait and Hope that you’ll make it free.
