Pokémon GO App Details

Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. The newest update to Pokémon GO, the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 750 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch, introduced a revamped Gym gameplay experience, including the opportunity to join together with others to battle against powerful Pokémon in the new Raid Battle feature! Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered! Now’s your chance to discover and capture the Pokémon all around you—so get your shoes on, step outside, and explore the world. You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away! Search far and wide for Pokémon and items Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items. Catching, hatching, evolving, and more As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger. Take on Gym battles and defend your Gym As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. You can also participate in Raid Battles at Gyms around the world. A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own! It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await! App Reviews

  • Some things that need adjustments

    By FranklinOkoronkwo722
The app keeps crashing for iOS users The lobby only reads that there is only yourself or maybe one other user when there are more than 8 people, network errors and losing GPS is more frequent and your raid pass still gets consumed for going in a lobby

  • Pokémon Go Plus delay

    By Astrofat
Current version has a delay when using Pokémon Go Plus. It takes around 4-5 flashes to respond to a button press whereas it was instantaneous before. Likely due to the iOS 11 update.
  • Good game, but new updates are slightly disappointing.

The game keeps me active, and is fun to play alone, or with someone else! *EDIT*However, the modifications to the gym have been disappointing for me. Raids are great. Besides that, the new gyms only allowS 6 people on, and don't give any bonuses for staying on for a long period of time (beyond 50 coins). Also, the battle function is too slow stopping after each Pokémon, and way too easy. The Pokémon on gyms lose CP way too quickly just by sitting. Gyms are missing the ability to battle up gyms, which was fun building up for people to join. The new gyms seem watered down, too slow, and too easy... sad to see them so radically changed, it makes me want to play less. :( Please consider returning the gyms to how they were before.

The diamonding is happening. Just like the cards, fans will quit and I'll keep playing with other hardcore fans. I love catching and raising the best Pokémon. It's only getting better too

His game is to be fun when they were new pokemon to catch. If you don’t battle it’s boring

  • Amazing but we need more

THIS IS MY FAVORITE MONILE GAME OMG!!! There are just a few problems. 1, i love raid battles, there is just one problem. It's so hard to catch the boss. Whenever I catch win a battle, I never catch the Pokémon and I honestly start to cry about it :( 2, scanning Pokémon cards. There should be an option to scan your Pokémon cards into the game. I love the cards and battling with them, and I have so many and real good Pokémon :D now I know what if there is someone is scanning a Pokémon that's not in the game yet, well then it can say "this card did not work, try again" it can say the same for a fake card. 3, as you get a higher level, the Pokémon you cat have more cp and more hp. I'm on lvl 20. For players lvl 20 or higher Pokémon should have at least 1200 cp. and finally 4, more pokecoins. You should be able to get them at pokestops. That's all also this game is amazing!

  • Can't take down gyms errors out

    By Boss town ace
Over all it's a good game I love playing but it crashes way to often, recent problems have been when I'm taking down a gym I'll beat it half way and then it errors out so I'm pretty much wasting my time I'll never beat a gym this way
