  • Game changer

I was growing quite weary of ordering the same unhealthy food that all tasted the same for delivery and when you don’t feel like leaving the house it was pretty dismal ordering delivery. I am so happy that this exists

Substitutions could be much better. Sealing bag so drivers can’t look at or touch the food. Drivers should always call , letting us know food is at the front door.
  • A dream come true, especially in this bone-chilling weather!

I love Uber Eats! No muss, no fuss. So easy, with many great restaurant offerings, including Italian Kitchen in Silver Spring, MD.
  • Useless

Why offer Uber credits if I need a credit card linked to the account to order?? I have enough Uber credits for my order but am not allowed to place it.

Absolutely terrible in every possible way. Couldn’t be more useless. Only rating one star so that I can submit a review. Otherwise ZERO stars!!!

I’ve been a customer with Uber Eats for about a year now, recently I received a promo 3Free19. That being said, my account stated I would be able to get free delivery for 3 orders until Feb. 1, I ordered food and the promo applied automatically. I was super excited! Until 2 days later when I went to order again and I tried 8 different restaurants, both in Phoenix and Tucson and not a single one said it was eligible for my promo. Which is ridiculous since I had used it no problem a few days prior at the same restaurant. I called in to which a very nice lady gave me my reference number and told me to call back once my food was delivered. Give them the reference # and they’d happily refund my delivery charge for the inconvenience. I called back and the next rep decided to argue with me and claimed I must be doing something wrong and that I hadn’t applied the promo. Even though once I used it it was supposed to apply automatically, and when it didn’t I went to promos and tried clicking on the button that said select only for Uber to tell me it didn’t qualify. After arguing with me and putting me on hold she said I would be refunded 5.49 for the fee and I’d be paying 12.68 for my food. Upon checking my receipt it said I’d only be charged 10.70. So I was a little confused as to where the extra was coming from. I checked my bank account to see what was up and Uber had charged me the full 18.14 for my order with no pending 5.49 being put back into my account. Despite it taking 3-5bus days my bank will tell me when things are pending and I had nothing pending. Due to the 18.14 being charged, I had a credit card payment that bounced even though that had to been pending long before the Uber payment. Today I once more checked to see if the 5.49 was pending to be put back in and nothing not a single pending charge. At this point I’m at work, I’m stressed and so I decided to call in. The male rep kept me on the phone for 31min arguing with me. At first saying that I’d be refunded the 5.49 and that I didn’t understand how it works. I worked for a debit card services company I fully understand how banking is managed. He would then ask me to hold while he looked into refunding me. I’d hold, he would come back and say “to do the refund I need to know the reason for the refund.” Even though I had already told him. This happened several times to the point that I asked for a supervisor because I wanted the entire 18.14 refunded due to having to call several times and their reps had spent the entire time arguing with me. He kept saying “I understand, but I’m the best person to help you not the supervisor.” Or would simply say “well to get a refund you’ll have to call your bank.” At this point I’m livid, I have less than 5minutes before I have to open the store and work and I still had gotten nowhere. Again he asked why I wanted the refund and made me explain for the 5th time. I asked again for a supervisor and to not say “I understand.” Because clearly he didn’t and all he was doing was making me mad by not listening. After saying he needed to put me on hold for the 3rd or 4th time to “check if they could do the refund” he came back stating “I need to know the reason because it says here you already got the 5.49 refunded and there is no reason for us to give you the full refund.” even though nothing in my account was saying pending and I had told him several times that my account would automatically say something is pending for the 3-5bus days and that I no longer cared for the 5.49 fee that I wanted a full entire refund due to the total lack of respect and lack of customer service I received from said reps. The simple fact that I had to argue with two reps simply over an error on your guys part by giving me a promo, said promo not working, then having to two reps tell me it’s an error on my part. Tell me I’d be charged one price, but the receipt and my bank say 2 other prices. That in itself warrants a refund because as a customer I should not have to call 3 times, be told several different things and then have to sit and argue about the fact that I don’t deserve a refund when I’m unsatisfied by their customer service?! You are in the business to help make customers happy, therefore you look for customer satisfaction and that right there? That is nowhere near customer satisfaction. That is ridiculous having to waste my time at work to argue for a 3 time with reps rather them trying to help me. It’s disrespectful and just ridiculous. I ended having to go to my bank and deal with the dispute directly. Up until this point I have used ubereats quite frequently, I will not be ordering again ever.
  • Reliable but expensive

Got a burger and fries end up costing me 20$ but aye I’m on house arrest so there’s not much I can do
  • Wow.

I ordered from Subway, and it said it took 15-20 minutes. I paid a lot of cash, just for them to never show up. I tried calling ubereats and waited for an hour and a half just for them to say that no one can help me. I am very disappointed.
  • Fees get more expensive!

    By Bella's Mommy12
When I began using this app the delivery fees were $2 - $4. Now? I am lucky if the delivery fee is anything less than $7! Don't use, if you are on a budget. Otherwise they are quick and prompt.
