RoboKiller - Stop Spam Calls App Details

With RoboKiller, answer your phone with confidence once again! Telemarketers and scammers have made it painful to pick up a call, but RoboKiller, winner of the FTC's anti-robocall competition, gives you your phone back. The New York Times, NBC, Wired, Engadget, Vice and others, are all raving about RoboKiller’s power to block over 100,000 spam calls and its uncanny ability to show you exactly who is calling you before your answer. RoboKiller reduces unwanted calls by up to 90% in 30 days! RoboKiller is available with both monthly and yearly subscriptions, both with a free 7-day trial; opt-out at any time during the trial and you aren’t charged a penny. (See for pricing.) RoboKiller also takes the hassle out of getting the calls you DO want, with true, real-time caller ID so you can stop guessing who’s at the other end of your calls. RoboKiller’s caller ID turns phone numbers into names, addresses and even photos of the people calling you. No more annoying cutting and pasting, trying to figure out who’s on the phone after the call is already over. *** RoboKiller works on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Cricket and MetroPCS. RoboKiller is NOT currently supported by US Cellular. *** KEY BENEFITS: - Automatically blocks spam and robocallers with patented FTC-award winning technology. - Spam list automatically updates automatically, making sure you always have the most up-to-date protection. - Take control! Bad number got through? Block it! Good number got blocked? Allow it! - Identifies missed calls with Caller ID - including names, addresses and even photos (where available). - See missed and blocked calls in your Recents - you can even listen in to hear why blocked callers were calling. - Dedicated customer service team with real humans, 7 days a week. In-App Purchases: RoboKiller is a free download, with a free trial period to use the app completely risk-free, before purchasing the service. If you purchase the service, you will be charged a monthly price according to your country. The price will always be shown in the app before you complete a purchase. Your RoboKiller subscription automatically renews at the end of every billing period (as determined by your purchase of monthly or yearly service) and your iTunes account will automatically be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can turn off auto-renew at any time from your iTunes Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable. Terms of Service: Privacy Policy:

App Reviews

  • The only one that works

    By Sleepstrom
I’ve tried at least four call blockers that I’ve subscribed to. This is the *only* one that has blocked all spam calls. I used to get three to four a day, and now none. Just a pleasing little notification that a call was blocked. Then I use the spam bot recordings to keep the spammers talking and listen to the recordings in my free time. Pure heaven.
  • App Keeps Crashing

I’ve yet to be able to use the app. After I set it all up the app freezes on the home page. I can’t find any information online to help with this problem
  • Can’t use app

I’ve been trying to get past the set up screen since the beginning of the day. It tells me to call a number and I do and when I receive a call I ignore it completely and after it still fails and says it couldn’t verify it’s my number sometimes I don’t even get a call but if I get lucky I get past that but when it says it making sure that robo killer is working properly by being called by a blocked number it stays on that screen no matter how much time I give it Edit 1: I have contacted the customer support 30 min after my previous review and am still waiting for a response on my email...
  • One small issue

I’m still getting spam texts even though RoboKiller’s sms block is activated. Should that be happening?
  • Not good- charged me even though never activated

Even though when I Open the app it looks as if my account isn’t set up, I still had a $25 charge from the group. Unfortunately doesn’t work either. Caught a couple calls but wasn’t able to set to block calls from a tele that used multiple extensions. Additionally tried to block calls from actual contacts. Not happy w service provided and even more unhappy I was charged, even though the app is telling me I’m not setup.

    Awesome app

My review was flawed. It’s a free trial and $24.99/year thereafter. I didn’t purchase. I wish the App Store would just post the price up front, but that may not have to do with this developer/salespeople. It does seem deceptive to have “Activate” posted in large print before you can read the small print. Uninstalled It’s a ine week free trial and $24.99/month after that.

All I’ve got to say is I was getting automated calls anywhere between 2 to 5 times a day sometimes and ever since I purchased a RoboKiller one might slip by once or twice a week. Best app I purchased in a long time.

App itself works pretty good, but saying it supports family sharing is contingent on all your shared accounts using the same iTunes account—, all accounts using it must be on same Apple ID. Ea unique Apple ID is billed. Not sure developers intended or understood Apple Family Sharing. The language dropped in app for supporting family sharing is from the developers. The app is free but can’t be used or be of use unless you are subscribed/enrolled anyway.
