It is the same as the youtube app, you exit the app and the music stops, you want to disable video, you have to pay. So, what difference have this from youtube standard app? Total lose of time, do not download

1.) The fact that this app organizes by download date rather than an option of alphabetical or alphabetical by artist is just terrible. Like, genuinely horrible. I have thousands of songs and it’s a nightmare finding the one I want. 2.) I realize this will come with time, but the music library is poor. And using the video download feature is a horrid alternative to downloading music through albums like a normal streaming service. 3.) I have used Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play Music, Rhapsody, and now YT Music, and none of them have had download speeds as incredibly slow as YT Music’s (even the glitchy and slow Play Music was way faster at downloading). 4.) Many of my albums display as “Album - ‘Album Title’” rather than just “Album Title.” The ones that do this also display the artist as the word Album followed by a dot. And when I pull up the albums that glitch like this, they as show the album art as a square cropped version of YouTube “Artist - Topic” video associated with the album.

Very comparable to Spotify if not better. It links to YouTube videos and you can also watch videos. It’s a win-win

So.... Youtube doesn't let me close the app and it continue to play. It says - want to listen to your video/music after you close the app? Download YouTube music. So, I download YouTube music. I receive the same message with youtube music asking that I pay for premium. Garbage.
  • Completely useless

Honestly I don’t know why the reviews are so positive. This app is the same exact thing as YouTube but just a tiny bit different. And why the hell should I have to pay for premium to play songs off screen when I can just use an app like discord or Spotify or even SoundCloud that charges nothing? Nice job google, you’re gaining an even bigger fan base of idiots.

Dear YouTube, You clearly are unaware of the streaming competition. Pandora, Spotify, and Apple Music all have $5, $10, and $15 music plans. Your service is too expensive as a music streamer, too weak to replace Netflix or amazon video for entertainment, and most importantly, does not support the original content creators whether it’s about their own copyrighted content, or a false strike from a big name company. Until your service is affordable, directly supports all artists, and has real value comparable to the competition, I won’t be a subscriber.
  • Issues with offline music while on airplane mode

While I love this app when it is connected to the internet the app has major issues while on airplane mode. I have the offline mixtape enabled since I travel often and I like to listen to music while on a flight. Unfortunately while on airplane mode and playing the offline mixtape the phone gets very hot and the battery will completely drain in a couple of hours. If you are online the offline mixtape works just fine which kind of defeats the purpose.
